Ranger Dan

I wrote this song in 1998.  It was inspired by a solo camping trip to Boston Harbor Islands.  I stayed the first night on Bumpkin Island off the coast of Hull, MA.  The second night I stayed on Lovell's Island, nearer to Logan Airport.  I sat on a beach that night with Dan, and a family from Scotland and passed Dan's guitar back and forth trading songs in front of a campfire.
